The agreement for using WortBee

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WortBee ("WortBee", "we", "us", or "our"), including the WortBee mobile application and website (together, the "Service"). WortBee is operated by Md Atahar Hossain as an individual developer.

1. Acceptance

By using the Service, creating an account, continuing as a guest, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Accounts and Guest Use

You may use parts of the Service as a guest. Some features, including syncing progress, restoring access across devices, or purchasing Pro, require signing in with a supported identity provider. You are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity that happens through your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

WortBee Pro unlocks premium learning content and other paid features described in the app at the time of purchase. Prices, billing periods, trials, and renewal terms are shown before purchase.

• Mobile subscriptions are billed through Apple App Store or Google Play using RevenueCat as the entitlement platform.
• Web subscriptions are billed through RevenueCat Web Billing, with Stripe used as the payment processor.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, or as otherwise described by the store or billing provider at purchase time.
• You can manage or cancel mobile subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Web subscribers can use the management link shown in their WortBee profile when available.

5. Refunds

Refunds for purchases made through Apple or Google are handled by the relevant store under its refund policies. Refund requests for web purchases should be sent to shajib.ruet07@gmail.com. Granting a refund may remove the related Pro entitlement.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity.
• Try to access accounts, systems, content, or APIs that you are not authorized to use.
• Copy, scrape, redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit Service content without permission.
• Interfere with the security, availability, or normal operation of the Service.

7. Learning Content

WortBee provides vocabulary, examples, translations, audio, quizzes, and related learning material for educational use. We try to keep content accurate and useful, but language learning material may contain mistakes or omissions. You should not rely on the Service as professional, legal, medical, or safety advice.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, text, audio, and learning content, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as intended.

9. Changes to the Service

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features as the Service evolves. We may also update prices, plan names, or included Pro features for future billing periods, subject to applicable store and payment-provider rules.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the Service, or used the Service in a way that harms other users or us.

11. Disclaimers and Limits of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or service interruption.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Consumer protection rights that apply in your country of residence are not limited by these Terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice when reasonably possible.
